Ever since Mark Zuckerberg announced in July that the metaverse is the future of Facebook, things have been going crazy. The metaverse is a collective virtual space, a kind of extension of today's Internet.
There are currently several players in the market. The Metaversum Decentraland is an Ethereum-based blockchain platform where virtual reality applications can be purchased, created and monetized, and NFTs can be incorporated. We purchased the -55/-140 property using the in-house ECR-20 cryptocurrency "MANA" and named it META DIGITAL. We thus have full ownership and control of our parcel as well as the applications we create within our land.
In summary, Decentraland is a free, decentralized and virtual 3D world - including our own cryptocurrency. So perfect for us to gain experience, have fun and build expertise.
Our first application on Decentraland will be the livestream: Krypto - Quo vadis?, which we will conduct on Friday 26.11. at 10 am. As usual, it will also be streamed on our Live Hub live.kuble.com, on social media and additionally for the first time on Decentraland.
To make this work, several brains at Kuble had to strain their brain cells - developers, designers and of course the streamer team sat together and made it happen.
